Development Fellowship for Playwrights:
We are pleased to announce our Development Fellowship for Playwrights, aimed at providing a platform for emerging and mid-career playwrights to hone their craft and develop their careers. Fellows receive two free workshops (live, online) for playwrights to adapt one of their stage plays into a film or TV script.
Who is eligible to apply for the Development Fellowship for Playwrights?
Emerging and mid-career playwrights who have written at least one full-length play are eligible to apply. We welcome applications from playwrights of all backgrounds. There is no limitation on genre, style, or subject matter.
We will only accept the first 100 submissions, so we suggest submitting early.
The Fellowship starts July 2023, schedule will be made based on the availability of the winner.

- A resume or CV highlighting your experience as a playwright
- A one-page cover letter explaining why you are interested in the fellowship and what you hope to gain from the experience, including a short paragraph about the screenplay you would like to start or continue to write during the fellowship.
- A writing sample consisting of no more than 10 pages of a full-length play or a complete short play.
