Hook your reader, excite producers, & entice great actors! In the hands of a reader, most screenplays don't make it past page 15. A reader can tell well before then if the writer has a voice they connect to, the craft skills to function professionally, and a compelling concept. As unfair as this sounds, most readers do not have enough time to read every script till FADE TO BLACK. Therefore, it's essential to ensure your first fifteen pages are Amazing.
Often, writers need to realize where they are failing to care for their readers because their film is so evident in their minds. But unfortunately, even brilliant writers fail to realize that what is evident in their minds is not clear in the mind of their readers. After much demand, we are excited to offer a new class to help make your first fifteen pages as impressive as possible. CLASS HIGHLIGHTS
This class is perfect for any script writer working on a later draft of a script. (We do not recommend this class if you are still working on your first draft.) Each writer gets one in-class workshop on their pages and one in class workshop of their logline. All writers will participate in every class. In each session, you take away new tools and perspectives that you can use on every script you write. You will learn how to approach your final polish with the reader's psychology in mind, enhancing your communication and ensuring your vision is translated effectively to everyone who picks up your script. "Jess' unique ability to adjust her approach based on where the writer is in their journey shows her dedication to actually helping us move forward. This class was the first time I ever really felt safe to share. The way Jess handles giving feedback is like therapy for a writer’s soul."

"Jess's classes and meditations have gotten me through some very severe blocks. These are professional-grade tools that short circuit the fear, imposter syndrome, and perfectionism that stands in the way of you doing your best work. I rely on them regularly!"

"I was amazed not only at the number of tools I learned but the psychology behind them. I've read every book on screenwriting and felt overwhelmed with what I was 'supposed' to do on the page. I was tired of following someone else's path; it felt forced. This class gave me tools I could actually use on all my scripts. Jess helped me understand the psychology of how a reader reads a script vs how an audience watches TV and unconsciously what brings an audience back to a show. This has changed my career."
